As always, I'm your host Zachary Reality and Love is Blind this season is really popping off and fans have been super invested and anxiously awaiting the season finale, to air this Friday on Netflix. This season, the show found 30 singles from Chicago and 12 left engaged. That we saw on tv. But, it actually turns out, four other participants did make the ultimate commitment after their time in the pods: Caitlin McKee and Joey Miller, and Kara Williams and Jason Beaumont also got engaged on the show. It's unclear why producers chose to highlight the other couples' romances, but I am assuming it just has to do with timing and editing. Maybe they wanted to just zoom in and focus on the couples with the most intriguing and diverse stories. However, these two couples shared their love stories on social media, so fans knew what was really going on!! Caitlin took to her instagram to write "What you didn't see is that I also found love in the pods and left the show with a fiancé. @millerj5001 and I had an amazing summer and fall with the opportunity to travel, meet each other's families, and build a genuine relationship without the cameras and crew." Joey wrote: We vibed from the first pod date, got WAY deep WAY fast, surprised each other with Drumsticks/tacos/Tequila/Bieber serenades, got engaged without ever seeing each other, and had an amazing summer and fall together without all the cameras." However, even though these two fell in love and got engaged, the relationship ultimately didn't work out. So, like no wonder Netflix didn't want to waste air time on them, if it wasn't super climactic. And the same thing happened with Kara and Jason. They walked out of the pods, an engaged couple, but also realized they weren't meant to be together in the end. Jason says: He can still remember meeting Kara face-to-face, saying it was "without a doubt the best feeling I've ever had in my entire life." And though they've since broken up, "That will never take away the feelings & love I had for her throughout this process." The Love Is Blind creator Chris Coelen recently said that they would've followed these couples but they simply didn't have the resources. "You only have so many crews and so much budget and so much time," he explained. "It would be amazing to follow everybody, but you just have to decide what feels like a good group to follow."
